Stone Sues Over Supposed Facelift
DECEMBER 14--Sharon Stone wants you to know she's never had a facelift--and is suing a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who has claimed to have done some recent touch up work on her. In a Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit, an excerpt of which you'll find below, the 46-year-old actress alleges that Dr. Renato Calabria is guilty of libel and slander for telling two celebrity magazines that he was responsible for her supposedly new face. While Calabria is not quoted in either Us Weekly or In Touch, Stone notes that the surgeon's own online press kit includes news articles crediting him with "performing Sharon's rumored surgery." In her complaint, Stone states that she "has never undergone a facelift to improve her physical appearance," adding that she "prides herself not only on her acting ability and other talents, but also on her natural physical appearance."
